Pride Flags

For many people in the LGBTQ+ community, we use flags to help share our pride and signify our unity together. With many different identities in our community, there is many different flags to learn about. We know this may not be all of the flags that represent our community, but we will do our best to update this page as new flags come out.

The Progress Pride Flag

The Progress Pride Flag evolved from the Philadelphia Pride Flag and was created by Daniel Quaser. Quasar added a white, pink, and light blue stripe to represent the Trans community. While the black and brown stripes still represented communities of color, the black stripe is also a symbol for all the thousands of individuals that the community lost during the HIV/AIDS crisis in the 1980s and 1990s. Since its creation, the flag has become very popular.
